This is the topic for this week's Character Development Lesson. I thought we need to explore this topic further and remind ourselves not to give up in times of adversity. Resilience is something that we need, especially when we are faced with so many difficulties every day. Trust me, even as an adult myself, I need to constantly remind myself to be resilient so as to have the courage to face each day's challenges.

How about you? What do you do to encourage yourself or to pick yourself up each time you encounter a setback? Do you take a deep breathe, think positive and find a solution for your problem? Do you grumble and blame others for your situation?

On the side note, I observed that some of you were not taking the CCM class seriously. It was quite disappointing. The CCM class is an enrichment programme which will allow you to learn a new language as well as be sensitive to other cultures. Think of others who do not have a chance to get educated. Think of those who do not have the luxury of learning in a comfortable environment? Are you taking things for granted?


Lastly, please remember to hand in the e-learning form so that I will know who will be coming to school next Monday to use the computer for e-learning. Remember to sell the food and fun fair tickets as well. Try your best and do not return me the tickets without trying. I am sure you can find someone who is willing to buy it. Treat it as an opportunity to show your secondary school to your close ones and relatives or friends. Please continue to work hard and be consistent in your work. I will checking the parent's signature on 'Off to the Hospital' comprehension. Please be accountable and show your parents your work. Brandon reminded me of the quote 'you make your choices and your choices make you'! Let us put these words into good practice!
