Dear 2 N8,

I am writing this entry after Mr Raj has spoken to you. Indeed, I am not very proud of what has happened. However, I took it in my stride and told myself that you are one who needs to make a difference to your own life. Whose fault is it when the class is in a mess? Whose fault is it when you do not do well academically? Whose fault is it when you are not happy?

We can always find someone to blame. It is always easy to point fingers at others. However, what have we done to help? What have we contributed? What have we not done?
I appreciate different pupils for their contribution to the class. Ashleigh and friends for getting the food and fun fair stall moving and completing the EL Day banner. Huiyu and Lixuan - for helping to spruce up the notice board. Yoey for taking the daily attendance and sending out reminders to the class. Remus for knowing his priorities and doing his work. Krishnan for trying his best even though the subjects are difficult to handle. Most of the girls for putting in effort and taking care of themselves so that I do not have to worry.

I know many of you are trying your best to change and I know that you are taking steps to change. However, are there times when you can better manage yourself so that you do not distract others or even yourself? For example, throwing paper balls, tapping on the table, sleeping in class, pinching one another, talking about irrelevant subject matter, calling names and not doing your work. I am sure this list goes on and on as there are so many things we can do to make a difference.

I think at the end of it all, it is important to love yourself. Do you love yourself enough to want to make a difference to your own life? Do you love yourself enough to know what are the priorities at this moment? Do you treasure the time and what you have? Do you love yourself?

I am not ashamed of you my dear pupils. I am just disappointed. I want YOU to be proud of yourself, be proud as a class. Let us love ourselves and one another.
